hello everyone , i am writing content about web development in simple term here. I am naresh valvi working as frontend react developer. I am regularly working with HTML,css , css framework like bootstrap, material-ui ,javascript and React. i will share what i have learnt during working and what we use most of time. i do one to one teachering web development on my free time .

frontend development consist of html,css, js and framework as per requirement.

To write code – use can use vs code editor. Its free code editor.

lets start with HTML:

html is made of tag (<> </>) . whenever we want to code something in html we have take help of tag.

most of common topic in html we use regularly are as below.

tag are divided based on requirement.

for container – span tag ( <span> </span>) , div tag (<div> </div>)

for typography – header tag (<h1> </h1> to <h6> </h6>), p tag  (<p> </p>),

for media – img tag (<img>), audio tag (<audio> </audio>), video tag (<video> </video>),

for list – ul tag (<ul> </ul>) , ol tag (<ol> </ol>),

for more content – table tag (<table> </table>),

for form – form tag (<form> </form>), when we want to collect information or user input we have tags like input tag (<input>) , radio button, checkbox etc

for link – a tag ( <a> </a> ).

 How to start writing code with html :

After successful installation of vs code , create one folder then open that folder with vs code . create file – index.html

Here .html is html file extension, it shows that its html file.

Below is basic code of html file. Here !DOCTYPE – stand for html version 5,all browser support this.

<head> tag – mostly use for SEO , add title and internal style.

<body> tag – all webpage code we right here.

This is basic introduction of html and how to start code in html.

How to use tag :

For creating container we use – <div> </div>  and <span> </span>

Difference between Span and Div

Only take content space Cover whole row

List tag – <ol> </ol> vs <ul> </ul>

Ordered list :  syntax is as below

When we want to show list with number that time we use this.

Unordered list : syntax is as below

It show list with circle.


Summary: here we learnt about what is web development , what technology is used. In first chapter we learnt about html tag and how to use them. Some tag are remaining that we will see in next chapter.
